Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop is preparing to reopen its Cheyenne Road restaurant in Colorado Springs on October 13, continuing its effort to restore the brand’s local presence under new corporate ownership. Located at 140 E. Cheyenne Road, Suite 110, in the Creekwalk development, the restaurant will welcome customers back with the chain’s signature sandwiches and freshly made fries, a new addition for the location. The reopening follows the September return of Capriotti’s Barnes Road restaurant.
The company’s renewed focus on Colorado Springs follows the closure of three local restaurants earlier in the year. Capriotti’s has since brought the Barnes Road and Cheyenne Road locations under corporate ownership, shifting away from the previous franchise-operated arrangement at those sites. The company has emphasized rebuilding local teams and restoring the food and service customers expect from the brand. The former InterQuest Parkway location is not part of the reopening plan.
To mark the Cheyenne Road reopening, Capriotti’s plans a day of customer promotions. The first 50 customers arriving at 9 a.m. will receive a free small eight-inch sub for a future visit. Guests can also spin a prize wheel throughout the day, while lunch and dinner customers will have opportunities to enter a raffle for a Capriotti’s swag bag. The activities are designed to encourage visits and introduce customers to the restaurant’s refreshed operations.
The menu will feature familiar favorites, including The Bobbie, made with slow-roasted, hand-pulled turkey, the Capastrami and the Classic Cheesesteak. The restaurant will also offer the Cooper Sharp Cheesesteak for a limited time. Regular hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday, with dine-in, pickup, delivery and catering available. Customers can join Capriotti’s Rewards to earn points and receive eligible offers.
The reopening gives Capriotti’s another opportunity to reconnect with customers in a market where its return has been closely watched. For franchise operators planning similar local events, Gorilla Dash offers a Competitions and Promotions feature to help organize giveaways and other promotional activities. That general resource is separate from Capriotti’s operations and does not imply the restaurant uses or endorses the platform. Ultimately, the success of the Colorado Springs comeback will depend on whether renewed customer interest translates into consistent visits beyond opening day.
