Bobby’s Burgers by Bobby Flay has announced two new community programs that turn each visit into an opportunity for local support. Through Force4Good and GiftAMeal, the burger brand mobilizes both fundraising and hunger relief efforts in select markets.
Michael McGill, President of Bobby’s Burgers, emphasized the local nature of the effort, noting that “giving back starts close to home.” He underlined how these initiatives allow patrons to support their communities simply by dining out.
The Force4Good program enables schools, clubs, and teams to host fundraiser events at participating restaurants. Once scheduled, groups receive promotional materials—from online content to flyers—and receive 20 percent of sales during the event as proceeds for their cause.
Steven Cook, founder of Force4Good, added that the initiative is centered on practicality and impact. “At Force4Good, our mission is to make fundraising as easy and impactful as possible,” he said, highlighting the simplicity and effectiveness of the platform.
Complementing the fundraising offering, GiftAMeal allows diners to support those facing food insecurity with just a photo. Guests scan an in-restaurant QR code, photograph their meal, and post the image on social media. Each post automatically triggers a donation of a meal to local food banks serving Charlotte or Orem.
Andrew Gantz, founder of GiftAMeal, said the collaboration with Bobby’s Burgers amplifies the initiative’s impact. “Partnering with Bobby’s Burgers means we can make an even greater difference,” he stated, emphasizing the value of pooling brand visibility with philanthropic goals.
These programs reflect a broader shift in franchising toward integrated social engagement. By weaving in fundraising and food support directly into the customer experience, Bobby’s Burgers sets a powerful example of how fast-casual brands can foster loyalty while making a real impact.
