A vendor's visibility to your network is decided by the status of their connection to your organisation, not by the vendor record existing.
| Status | Means |
|---|---|
| Pending | They have applied and nobody has decided yet. Not visible to tribes. |
| Active | Accepted and listed. |
| Paused | Temporarily out of the directory, without losing the record — a lapsed subscription, a supply problem, a review. |
| Rejected | The application was turned down. |
Accepting an application
Applications are reviewed from the vendor record. Look at the profile before accepting — a vendor with no products, no contact details and a dead website is not a listing your tribes will thank you for.

Vendors managed by the organisation
Some vendors are managed by the organisation rather than by their own administrators — a supplier who will never log in, listed because your tribes need to find them. Their profile is maintained by your team, and it goes stale unless somebody owns it.
