Every tribe has one of five statuses. They do much more than label the row — each one silently changes whether the tribe bills, appears on your website, receives campaigns and syncs its reviews.

What Paused actually stops
More than people expect. A paused tribe disappears from your website and your chatbot, stops receiving email campaigns and mailing lists, and stops syncing its Google and Facebook reviews. It keeps all its data and stays in your admin lists.
That makes it right for a genuine closure — a refit, a seasonal shutdown, a franchisee between owners — and wrong as a way to just stop the billing while a tribe carries on trading.

Changing a status
One at a time on the tribe's admin settings, or in bulk from the tribe list using Change Tribe Status.
- Opening Soon is missing from the bulk menu — it can only be set on one tribe at a time.
- A bulk status change does not refresh your website caches or the generated tribe groups the way a single change does. If a bulk change does not show up straight away, open one of the tribes and save it.
