Finding the right tribe settings screen

TWO SCREENS SHARE THE NAME "TRIBE SETTINGS"
The one in the left-hand menu is for organisation administrators only. The tribe's own profile — its phone number, address, opening hours, logo — is a different screen with no menu entry at all. If somebody says they cannot find a setting, they are almost always on the wrong one of these two.

The tribe's own profile

Open the tribe and look for the cog icon on the tribe's home card. That opens Edit Tribe — the day-to-day screen with eight tabs.

TabWhat is on it
AboutPhone, WhatsApp, email addresses, timezone, logo, review links.
NotificationsWho is emailed and texted about enquiries and campaigns.
WebsiteThe copy that appears on this tribe's web page.
LocationAddress, region and map pin.
Opening HoursRegular hours, split shifts and one-off closures.
SocialSocial profile and review links.
MediaBanner images, square image, gallery, team photo.
SettingsEnquiry options — AI summaries, unknown-caller emails, unsubscribes.
THE COG ONLY APPEARS IF THE ORGANISATION ALLOWS IT
A tribe user sees it only when the organisation has switched on tribe editing for that tribe and they have permission to edit tribe settings. If a branch manager reports there is no cog, that is a setting at head office, not a fault.

The organisation administrator screen

In the tribe's menu, Tribe Settings is marked Org admins only. It holds the things a tribe must not change about itself — its name, slug, status, type, tags, region, which websites it belongs to, its territory, its API keys, and the switches controlling what the tribe may edit.

Its tabs are General, Communications, Address & Territory and Privacy. Communications is a link out to the email domain screen rather than a panel.

Organisation-wide tribe settings

A third place, under the Tribes application rather than on any one tribe, sets the rules for every tribe at once — whether tribes may edit their own details at all, whether they can upload a logo, whether holiday and custom hours are available, and the field-by-field access matrix.

The other screens on a tribe

Several settings live on their own menu entries rather than in either screen above: Team Members, Tribe Administrators, Communications Settings, Tribe Store Settings, Payment Providers, Customer Access, Social Connections, Software Integrations, Billing, and — for organisation administrators — Change Log and Telephone Numbers.
