The Notifications tab decides who hears about activity at this tribe. You can name team members, type in extra addresses, or both.
Empty does not mean nobody
| Setting | Receives | If left blank |
|---|---|---|
| Enquiry & File Upload Recipients | New enquiries, uploaded files, appointment bookings, unknown-caller alerts | Falls back to the organisation's email address |
| Main notification SMS number | A text for each new enquiry | No text is sent at all |
| Email Marketing Notifications | Told when a campaign is pushed to this tribe | Every active tribe administrator |
| Social Media Notifications | Told when a social post is pushed to this tribe | Every active tribe administrator |
Online store orders are separate again — those go to the address on Tribe Store Settings, falling back to the enquiry recipients, then to the organisation.
Only team members with an email can be picked
The team member lists come from your Organisation Chart and only offer people who have an email address on their record. Somebody missing from the list needs their email adding there, not here.
The customer's acknowledgement
By default the enquiry form sends its own reply to the customer. Switch on Use custom enquiry response email to override it for this tribe, with your own subject and message. Turning the switch back off keeps what you wrote — it just stops using it.
You can personalise it with {{tribe.name}}, {{organisation.name}}, {{person.first_name}}, {{person.last_name}}, {{person.email}} and {{person.mobile}}.
Unknown callers
The Settings tab can email tribe administrators a form whenever an inbound call cannot be matched to an existing contact, so somebody can capture the details. If a notification SMS number is set, the link is texted too.
The same tab has an unsubscribe list for people who no longer want those alerts. If everybody unsubscribes, nothing is sent to anyone — including the text message.
