Logo, images and web page copy

The logo

A tribe can upload its own logo on the About tab, if the organisation allows it. Where set, it appears on emails this tribe sends — appointment confirmations, review requests, enquiry acknowledgements, order emails.

SWITCHING TRIBE LOGOS OFF HIDES EXISTING ONES TOO
If the organisation turns off the tribe logo option, emails stop using any logo that was already uploaded and fall back to the organisation's. The file is still there — it is simply not used. Worth knowing before changing that switch across a network.

Images save as soon as you choose them, not when you press Save. That means a picture you added is already live even if you then cancel out of the form.

Page copy

The Website tab holds the words on this tribe's page — banner heading and caption, meta title and description for search engines, the page headings and introduction, and an introduction for the team section.

Two buttons that overwrite without asking

CHANGING THE LANGUAGE DISCARDS UNSAVED EDITS ON EVERY TAB
The language selector reloads the tribe immediately. Anything you have typed anywhere on the form and not yet saved is lost, with no confirmation. Save first, then switch language.
POPULATE DEFAULT CONTENT REPLACES YOUR COPY IMMEDIATELY
It overwrites the current language's banner, meta and page text with the templates from the tribe type — no confirmation and no undo. Use it on a brand new tribe, not on one whose copy somebody has written.

Working in more than one language

Page copy can be translated per language. Fields still showing English because no translation exists are marked with an EN chip — edit one to create the translated version.
