Clear the reply box and choose to draft. The result appears as a normal reply you can edit freely. There is also a polish option for tidying something you have written yourself.

Always read it before sending

What to check

• Does it answer what they actually asked? A long, plausible reply to the wrong question is worse than nothing.
• Are the steps real? Screen names and buttons change.
• Are the links right? Check anything it points at.
• Does it promise anything? Dates, fixes and refunds are yours to promise, not the draft's.
