Most networks run something alongside Gorilla Dash — a supplier portal, a production system, a shared drive, a training site. Menu links put those in the Gorilla Dash menu, so your team reaches them from the place they already have open rather than from a bookmark somebody sent them last year.
Select Settings in the left-hand menu, then Links.
Adding a link
- Select Add Link.
- Give it a Link Name. This is what appears in the menu, so keep it short — a menu entry has very little room.
- Put the address in Link URL, including the https:// at the front.
- Choose who sees it: Organisation, Tribe, or both.
- Turn on External Link if it should open in a new tab rather than replacing Gorilla Dash.
- Select Save.
Organisation and Tribe are separate choices, and a link can be both. A supplier portal probably belongs in the tribe menu, where the people ordering stock will see it; a board reporting pack probably belongs only at organisation level.
Turn External Link on for anything that is not part of Gorilla Dash. Opening another system in a new tab means your team does not lose whatever they were part way through here.
Ordering and removing
Drag the links into the order you want them to appear in and save. Put the one people use daily at the top; a list ordered by when each link happened to be added is a list nobody reads to the bottom of.
