What members can do themselves

Members can have a login of their own. Once signed in they see their memberships, their recent orders and their payment methods.

What they can see and do

Payment methodsAdd one, make one primary, remove one — grouped by tribe.

What they cannot do

MEMBERSHIPS ARE READ-ONLY TO THE MEMBER
There is no self-service cancel, pause, plan change or amount change, and no invoice or receipt download. Every one of those is a request to your team. Say so in your own joining material so members know how to reach you — otherwise they hunt for a cancel button, fail to find one, and charge back instead.

Letting members register

Self-registration is a switch on your organisation. With it off, logins are created for members rather than by them. Either way they verify their email address and can reset their own password.

Seeing what they see

Your team can use View as the customer sees it on the Customer Access screen, which shows the exact same information the member gets. Use it before telling somebody on the phone what should be on their screen.

Members without a login

Plenty never sign in at all. They add their card through the one-time link in their welcome email, and update it through the link in a failed-payment email. Neither needs an account.
