A library used by a whole network accumulates the same image several times — someone re-uploads it because they could not find it, or a batch is loaded twice.

Why duplicates matter

• Two copies means two versions, and one of them will be the old one.
• A correction applied to one copy leaves the other wrong, in use, forever.
• Search results fill up with near-identical results, so people give up and upload a third.

The library can show you duplicates. Work through them after any large upload, keep the best version, and delete the rest.

Starred media

Starring is the cheapest way to steer a network towards the right artwork. Star the current campaign, the approved logo and the photography you want used, and most people will take what is in front of them.

Unstar last season's when it stops being current — a stale starred set is worse than none, because people trust it.
