Choosing who appears in the CRM

download Download PDF

Team Members in a tribe's CRM settings decides who the CRM treats as a salesperson: whose name appears when work is assigned, and whose mailbox is linked to the tribe.

Include in CRM

Switch a person on and they are offered for assignment on contacts, companies, opportunities and tasks. Switch them off and they stop appearing in those lists.

Include the people who sell. A workshop manager who never follows up a lead only makes every assignment dropdown longer.

EXCLUDING SOMEONE DOES NOT UNASSIGN THEIR WORK
Their existing contacts, deals and tasks stay with them. Before excluding someone who is leaving, reassign what they hold — otherwise it belongs to a name nobody can select any more.

Linked email accounts

The same screen shows which mailboxes are linked to this tribe, and lets a member connect a Google or Microsoft account. An account connected by somebody else is marked as theirs, so you do not unlink a colleague's mailbox by accident.

Email footers per person

A team member can be given their own email footer here, which replaces the organisation default for anything they send from the CRM.

When somebody is missing from the list

They are either not a member of this tribe, or their team member profile is not linked to their login. The second is the common one, and an administrator can link them.
