"New" has to mean something specific before the CRM can count it. The new-leads window is that definition: how recently a lead must have arrived to still count as new.
Choosing a period
The options run from the last 7 days to the last 90. Pick the one that matches how long a lead realistically stays fresh in your trade.
| Window | Suits |
|---|---|
| 7 or 14 days | Fast-moving work where a lead is cold within a fortnight. |
| 30 days | Most businesses. A sensible default. |
| 60 or 90 days | Long, considered purchases where a month is nothing. |
What it affects
The lists and counts that describe new leads. Widening the window does not create any leads — it changes how many of the ones you already have are still described as new.
