The Social Media card holds a company's public profiles. Find Social Links searches their website for them and fills the card in; you can also add or correct any of them by hand from the edit form.
Running the search
It works from the company's website, so an account with no website has nothing to search. Addresses are tidied into full web addresses as they are saved, so a profile name pasted in on its own still ends up as a working link.
Why bother
- Check a business is still trading before chasing it — a page that stopped posting two years ago tells you something.
- Read the room before a call: a new branch, an award, a hiring spree are all openings.
- Confirm you have the right business when the name is a common one.
If the card says there are no links yet, either nobody has run the search or the business genuinely has no profiles linked from its site — a small trade business often has neither.
