The calendar shows the things that happen at a time: meetings, site visits, demonstrations, calls you have booked. Tasks are what has to be done; events are where you have to be.
Creating an event
| Field | Notes |
|---|---|
| Title and description | What it is, and anything you need in front of you on the day. |
| Date and time | When it happens. |
| Event type | What kind of appointment it is — colours the calendar and feeds reporting. |
| Location | Where, or a meeting link. |
| Contact and company | Who it is with. Book from the record and this is filled in for you. |
| Tribe | Which tribe it belongs to. Leave it empty to keep the event organisation-wide. |
Booking from a record
Use Book a meeting on a contact and the event is linked to them from the start. It then appears on their profile, counts as a touch towards last contacted, and shows in the activity report.
