Saved cards

Add one under Payment Methods. You can hold several; one is marked Primary Card and is the one used for automatic collection. Cards are stored with our payment processor, not by Gorilla Dash.

Removing a card unlinks it from the account rather than destroying the record, so past payments still make sense.

Making a one-off payment

The Make Payment button beside your balance lets you pay the outstanding amount or type a different figure — useful for paying part of a bill or settling before the automatic run.

Automatic collection

Where it is switched on, your saved card is charged on the 4th of each month, straight after invoices are generated.

IT COLLECTS THE WHOLE BALANCE, NOT JUST THE INVOICE
Automatic payment charges everything outstanding on the account, including charges raised since the last invoice. If you are expecting the invoice total and a larger amount is taken, that is why. It never charges twice in a day, and it never charges an account in credit.

If the card is declined the attempt is recorded and not retried — the balance simply rolls into next month. Nobody is emailed about the failure, so check your balance if you expected a payment to go through.

The login-free payment link

Gorilla Dash can email a secure one-time link that lets somebody pay and save a card without logging in — useful when the person with the card is not a Gorilla Dash user. It expires after 14 days and works once.

On that page the amount can be changed, and setting it to zero saves the card without taking a payment.

Bank transfer

The bank details are on your Billing dashboard under Direct deposit and on every invoice. Allow three to five days for processing, and always use the reference shown — an unreferenced transfer takes far longer to match to your account.

Your balance

The dashboard shows the account balance rather than a per-invoice status. A negative balance means you are in credit, and the screen says so.
