Gorilla Dash has three things that show a calendar grid. They share no data at all, and picking the wrong one is the most common source of confusion in this part of the product.

Appointments
An inbox of bookings taken on your website. A visitor picks an appointment type, sees the free slots for a tribe, and books one. Gorilla Dash records it, creates or matches the contact, and emails both the customer and the tribe.
Event Calendar
Internal events — a conference, a training day, a network meeting. You invite people from your Organisation Chart contact lists, they get an email with Yes, No and Maybe links, and you can see who is coming.
CRM Calendar
A rep's working diary, covered in the CRM guides. Confusingly it calls its own entries "appointments" — those are not the same as the Appointments module. It can, however, show real website bookings as a read-only overlay: turn on Show appointments. That overlay is off by default and is the only genuine link between the two.
No syncing with Google or Outlook
None of the three connects to an external calendar. What you get instead is a calendar file attached to the emails, which the recipient can open to add the entry to their own diary manually.
