Social connections expire. It is normal, it happens to everyone, and the platforms do it deliberately — a permission granted once should not last forever. Each connection shows its status so you can see which need attention.

Where a connection just needs waking up, refresh connection does it without a full reconnect.

Why it expires

  • You changed your password on the platform.
  • The platform expired the permission on its own schedule — Facebook and Instagram do this regularly.
  • Someone removed your admin role on the page.
  • An administrator revoked connected apps for the business.
