Linking your pages to an organisation or tribe

Connecting an account tells Gorilla Dash who you are on that platform. Linking a page tells it what to publish to, and on whose behalf.

Choosing the pages

Under pages this account publishes to, pick the page and the organisation or tribe it belongs to. A tribe's own page links to that tribe; a brand page links to the organisation.

One connected account can carry several pages, each linked somewhere different — which is how one marketing manager runs the social accounts for a dozen tribes.

Getting it right

LINK THE PAGE TO THE PLACE THAT SHOULD POST AS IT

A page linked to the wrong tribe means posts scheduled by one tribe go out on another tribe's page. Check the page name against the tribe before you save, especially where the names are similar.

Unlinking

A page can be unlinked from an organisation or from a tribe without disconnecting your account. Use that when a tribe changes hands or stops using a page — the connection stays for everything else.

A page that disappeared from the list

If Gorilla Dash says a page is no longer available on the connected account, your access to it on the platform has changed — someone removed your admin role, or the page was merged or renamed. Sort it out on the platform, then select the page again here.
