Connecting a social account lets Gorilla Dash publish to your pages and bring your reviews and engagement back in. Open My Account → My Social Media Accounts.
It is always two steps
| Step | What happens |
|---|---|
| 1. Connect your account | You sign in to the platform and approve Gorilla Dash. This connects you. |
| 2. Link your pages | You choose which of the pages that account manages should be used, and for which organisation or tribe. |
STEP ONE ON ITS OWN PUBLISHES NOTHING
What you can connect
- Facebook — the pages your account manages.
- Instagram — a professional account linked to a Facebook page.
- LinkedIn — company pages, and your personal profile separately.
- Google — your Business Profile, for posts and reviews.
- Yelp — for reviews.
Before you connect
- Sign in to the platform in the same browser as the account that actually manages the pages — connecting with a personal account that has no page access is the usual dead end.
- Check you have an admin role on the page there. Gorilla Dash cannot be given more access than you have.
- Approve every permission it asks for. Skipping one usually removes the ability to publish.
The connection belongs to you as a person. If you leave the business, somebody else needs to connect their own account — which is why it is worth more than one person connecting.
