Each connected account shows when it was last synced. That one line answers most questions about missing email.
| What it says | What it means |
|---|---|
| A recent time | Working. If a message is missing, it is a matching question rather than a connection one. |
| Never synced | The account has been connected but has not pulled anything yet — often because it is not linked to a tribe. |
| Gorilla Dash can no longer reach this mailbox | The connection has lapsed and needs reconnecting. |
Reconnecting
Connect the account again from My Email Accounts and sign in to your provider. Nothing already recorded is lost, and the tribe links are kept.
Connections lapse for ordinary reasons: a password change, a new security policy at your provider, or an administrator revoking application access. It is not a fault, and it will happen again eventually.
Connected and syncing, but a message is missing
- Is the other person a contact in a linked tribe? Email is matched to contacts — a message to somebody who is not in the database has nowhere to appear.
- Did they write from a different address? A personal address will not match their work one on the contact record.
- Was it sent before you connected? The history starts from the connection, not from the beginning of time.
